Today, the Metaverse represents a world, or a system of 3D digital worlds, within which one can experience a reality in parallel to the physical reality.

The world of the Metaverse has attracted a lot of attention and particularly lively debate, both because it has been subject to reflections and financial speculation with regard to cryptocurrencies and NFTs, and because it has been considered to be the natural evolution of social networks by some major technological players.
