Cities are the places where extreme climatic weather events can cause the most damage.
The great heat waves and droughts, heavy rains and coastal erosion are problems already underway, so we must also ensure that our cities are more resilient, adaptable in the event of an adverse meteoric event. This means implementing strategies to increase the quantity and quality of green areas, try to de-waterproof the soils, create more livable public spaces, use materials that reflect solar radiation, create spaces for parking and shading, promote active mobility.
