#IlPOLIMIrisponde: How are electric car batteries recycled?

Lithium-ion batteries, used in the automotive sector, are modular products, ranging from the battery packs used inside vehicles up to modules and cells.

The geometry and materials of lithium ion battery cells is highly variable. This makes the recycling process quite complex in several respects.

Then, how can we recycle them? Two main process chains are used. Marcello Colledani, professor of De-Manufacturing explains them to us.
